Fanfare   from "L'Éventail de Jeanne"

L'Éventail de Jeanne was a ballet by ten different composers, dedicated to Mme Jeanne Dubost, and first heard in a private performance at her salon in June 1927, then in public at the Opéra de Paris on 4 March 1929. Ravel's brief orchestral Fanfare (approximately 90 seconds) was its opening number; it was composed early in 1927.

The score carries the marking "Wagneramente".
